Red Cape Distribution is an independent distribution company operating in Israel since 2017. The company specializes in quality films, commercial cinema, and family entertainment films. The first film distributed by the company was LEAP, an animated film that became the most successful independent animated movie of 2017. Some of the hits distributed by the company include the Oscar and Cannes Film Festival winner film Parasite, The Beekeeper starring Jason Statham, Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir: The Movie, The Driving Madeleine, Around the World in 80 Days, Looney Tunes Movie: The Day Earth Blew Up and soon X Factor in the Jungle, a new animated film based on the popular global music competition show. The company distributes between 10-17 films a year.
Red Cape Distribution is a subsidiary of "Row 9 Holdings," which also owns Movieland Cinema chain, with nearly 45 screens.
The company also founded and operates Nonti Media, Israel’s leading and largest platform for public film screenings in halls, kibbutzim, the army, hotels, and senior living facilities, representing most of the studios and content displayed in Israel.
The company was founded by Ben Kalifi, who previously served as the distribution manager for Warner Bros. and UIP in Israel, and later worked as a creative manager at a leading advertising agency.
